The Aspire One has an 8.9" CrystalBrite LED backlight LCD display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels which makes it a perfect fit for the most user-friendly interface available.

We've divided the home screen into four areas, each with space for three applications. To personalize them, just click on the arrow to the right of each area and drag your favorite application into the shaded zone. Done.

The screen also offers just the right balance between easy-to-read clarity and easy-to-use functionality, making it ideal for reading web pages and other online material.

At the top of the screen, an integrated Crystal Eye webcam and microphone means that you're always ready to chat live.

How big is perfection? The Aspire One is pretty close.

A well-organized home screen that gives you access to all the applications you need to stay connected, work, play, and organize your life on the road in a matter of seconds.

In addition, we've redesigned the instant messaging and email applications to make your life with the Aspire One simple and easy.

Single sign-on eliminates sign-on delays, allowing you to sign on just once to all your email accounts and multiple instant messaging profiles.

The Instant Messaging interface is clean and simple with full support for your favorite Messenger applications and emoticons.

The Mail program can manage up to six separate email addresses with support for POP3/SMTP/IMAP mailboxes. Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange from a single application, giving you instant access to all your mobile communication from the same window.

Finally, if you find you've run out of storage space, the Aspire One has another ingenious solution: Smart File Manager instantly and seamlessly merges extra storage capacity from any SD card inserted in the 2nd card slot to the left of the keyboard in the main memory available to the user, so you're never short of storage space.
